Common questions

A few things parents often ask.

Where do sessions happen?

Most often at your home. I can also meet at public libraries across Orange County. Online sessions over video work well too. Whatever fits your student best.

How long is each session?

It depends on your student's goals. Most families start with a one hour session.

What if my student is shy or unsure at first?

Most students are. There is no pressure to perform, and I follow the student's pace. Confidence is part of the work.

Do you offer test prep?

Yes. SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, and High School Placement Test (HSPT) strategy, study lifestyle training, and study skills coaching for students at all levels. The focus is on building habits that hold up beyond the test, not just drilling.

What is the cancellation policy?

Sessions require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, or they're billed in full. Illness is exempt — cancel or reschedule anytime with no penalty if your child is unwell. If cancellations become a recurring pattern, we'll discuss adjusting the arrangement together.

How do I pay?

Pay per session, or in small packages if you prefer. I will share specifics once we talk and figure out the right fit. No contracts.
